(Little Rock, AR) The Little Rock Police Department has confirmed with WREG that 12-year-old Amber Whitlow has been found safe in Memphis.

Detectives said they believed Antonio Whitlow, 33, was headed to Memphis because he used to live here and knows people in the area.

Witnesses say Amber Whitlow was adopted by an elderly couple. That couple was found dead Saturday morning in their home on Zion Street in the John Barrow addition of Little Rock.

Detectives have not said whether Antonio Whitlow is a suspect in the murders. The relationship between Amber and Antonio is unclear at the time.

Detectives with the Little Rock Police Department headed to Memphis Saturday evening to pick up the Whitlows.
