Chik-fil-A Executive Dies Suddenly

(Atlanta, GA) Longtime Chick-fil-A public relations head Don Perry has died.

Perry reportedly died suddenly early Friday morning.

Chik-fil-A has been going through a PR nightmare since Dan Cathy, President of the company announced he is against gay marriage.

Numerous groups have advocated boycotts of the company while others are rallying support for the well known chicken sandwich restaurant.

“Don was a member of our Chick-fil-A family for nearly 29 years,” the company said in a statement. “For many of you in the media, he was the spokesperson for Chick-fil-A. He was a well-respected and well-liked media executive in the Atlanta and University of Georgia communities, and we will all miss him.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,” the company continued.

The AJC reports Perry suffered a heart attack.
