(Memphis) An apartment building that had been the site of two fires in two days was leveled by construction equipment this morning.

The abandoned building at the Bayou Square Apartments on Millington Rd. near Frayser Rd. burned early Tuesday morning and again early Wednesday morning. Fire investigators say the fires were intentionally set.

The second fire caused the most damage.

Because of the danger the building posed, the city sent equipment to tear down the building.

Anyone with information about the arsons is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
