(Shelby County, TN) A fight over a cell phone put a pregnant woman in the hospital.

Twenty-year-old Arneshia Jones was brutally attacked by a relatives inside her home Wednesday near Raleigh.

Her cousin, 24-year-old Jalissa Marshall and her cousin’s husband, 24-year-old Torin Marshall, are both charged with several counts of aggravated assault.

Arneshia Jones says she was shocked when her cousin Jalissa came to her house, kicked in her kitchen door, maced her and began beating her.

She says the fact that she’s seven months pregnant did nothing to stop the attack.

“She was kicking me in my stomach. She kicked me in my face pretty hard. Stomped me in my face and was stomping me while I was on the ground,” said Jones.

Jones has a swollen cheek and nose, a blood-shot eye, busted lip and scratches all over her neck.

She says the most ridiculous part of it all is that it was all over a cell phone her grandmother had given her and her cousin wanted.

“A Blackberry. A free phone from Sprint,” said Jones.

Jones say at one point her cousin’s husband even pulled out a gun and says the couple left when they realized her younger brother had dialed  911.

Jones was transported to the hospital where she was told her nose was broken, but her baby was fine.

“Like my face and everything else didn’t matter. It was just my child,” said Jones.

The baby is due in October.
