Transition Planning Commission – Youth Voices

There are an awful lot of adults involved in merging Memphis City Schools with Shelby County Schools.  We have a Transition Planning Commission and a Unified School Board.  But what about those who actually have to attend school? They’re often left out of the decision-making process. Now, their voices are being heard. Kalemah Taalib-Din and Xavier Cole are part of the Planning Commission’s “Youth Voices Group”.
