Crittenden County Jailers Behind Bars

(Crittenden County, AR) Three jailers in Crittenden County are behind bars in the same jail they were supposed to protect.

Joe Lee Jimerson, Quirino Franklin, and Antonio Tillis were arrested last night for bringing in prohibited items into the jail.

Franklin bonded out, but Jimerson and Tillis remain behind bars on a $50,000 bond each.

Tomorrow the three will make their first court appearance at the West Memphis District Court.

The Crittenden County sheriffs office says it will provide more details at a news conference in Wednesday morning.
