Shots Fired at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center In Huntsville, AL

(Huntsville, AL) Officials from the Space and Rocket Center say today, just before 10:00 a.m., 3 shots were fired into the Davidson Center.

That is the hall that the Saturn V is housed in.

WHNT News reports one of those shots did hit the Saturn V Rocket.

There were no injuries in the shooting.

Huntsville Police are there, and say the area is safe.

According to investigators, is looks like the shots could have come from along I-565.

They say they do know the shots came from outside the building.

Guests were inside the building, but there were no injuries.

Rocket Center management says they notified the guests at the Davidson Center and ushered everyone out of the building in a safe and orderly manner.
