(Cornelius, NC) A nine-year-old girl from Dyersburg won the grand prize in the Aaron’s 2012 Color Your Way to Talladega contest.

As a result, Emery Beavis and three guests will attend the Aaron’s Dream Weekend in Talladega to watch two-time Daytona 500 champion Michael Waltrip drive her design in Sunday’s Aaron’s 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.  She and her guests will also receive travel, accommodations and $312 spending cash.

Waltrip’s #55 car is normally blue with white trim, but what he’ll race in come Sunday is a lot more colorful, and festive.

“I love the paint scheme Emery Beavis colored for me. It’s a happy paint scheme, and I am a happy person so it suits me just fine. When I see that colorful paint scheme it just makes me smile,” said Waltrip.

The #55 won’t be the only car with a different color scheme.  Waltrip’s racing partner, Clint Bowyer, will sport an Alabama BCS Championship logo on the hood of his #15 car.  He’ll even wear a helmet with an image of iconic Crimson Tide football coach Paul “Bear” Bryant on it.

By the way, Bowyer is a fan of Kansas.
