Car Chase Leads to Two House Fires

(Memphis) Two houses burned in the Raleigh-Frayser area overnight after a car chase.

Investigators say a white van was chasing a sedan.

The sedan pulled into the driveway of a vacant house on Valley Stream Cove near New Allen Rd. and Ridgemont Ave.

The people in the sedan ran away as the white van pulled in behind them.

The people in the white van doused the sedan in gasoline and set it on fire.

The fire spread to the vacant house then to a second vacant house next door.

No one was injured.
