Grizzlies earn first home court advantage in playoffs

(Memphis)- The Memphis Grizzlies will open the NBA playoffs at home for the first time in franchise history.

The Grizzlies 88-76 win over Orlando on Thursday gave Memphis the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-25 record. The Grizzlies finished a game ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers, the team they’ll face in the first round. Game one is set for Sunday in FedEx Forum.

Marc Gasol scored 22 points to lead the Grizzlies whlie Rudy Gay added 20 as they won their 11th straight home game.
