Arrest Made In Marshall Co. Case; One Suspect Still On The Run
(Holly Springs, MS) Marshall County investigators have arrested 29-year-old Kevin Shrock.
They say Shrock is one of the people responsible for trying to drown 18-year-old Charles Hardeman.
Hardeman escaped and, once his condition improved, was able to tell investigators from hospital bend everything that happened to him.
His mother told News Channel 3 last week that this day was coming.
“I just want you know no matter how many there are you thought you had my son or killed my son,” Tammy Hardeman. “My son is still alive and he’s going to tell us who did it to him.”
Two weeks ago Hardeman was found after he crashed his truck in Holly Springs.
He was soaking wet and his legs were bound.
Investigators say Shrock and Gregory Jenkins tied Hardeman’s legs together and threw him into the lake near his home, trying to kill him.
Today, Charles called investigators to The Med and gave them more information on who was responsible for trying to kill him.
The Sheriff’s office couldn’t discuss the investigation with me Thursday.
It must have been because they were hot on Shrock’s trail.
Now, they’re attention is on Gregory Jenkins.
Jenkins is considered armed and dangerous.
If you see him, don’t try to be a hero.
