Shooting Victim Crashes at Gas Station

(Memphis) Memphis police are trying to find the gunman who shot a man around 1:30 a.m.

Police say the 44-year-old man was shot at a convenience store on Kimball Ave.

He tried to drive for help, but only made it about 100 yds. before crashing into a street sign at Lamar Ave. and Pendleton St.

Police say he was shot in the side and is in extremely critical condition. Investigators have not been able to interview him yet because he was immediately taken into surgery.
