Grizzlies survive scare from Cavs

(Memphis)-Grizzlies big men Marreese Speightsand Marc Gasol each scored 17 points to lead Memphis to a 109-101 win over Cleveland on Monday. It was the Grizzlies fifth straight win and improved them to 40-25 on the season.

Six Grizzlies scored in double figures including Tony Allen, who had a franchise record eight steals to go with his 13 points.

The Grizzlies are now just half a game behind the Los Angeles Clippers for fourth place in the Western Conference in the race for homecourt advantage in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
