Suspect on the run after shooting a 12-year-old

(Memphis) – At approximately 6:30PM, officers received a shooting call to 3638 Wordsworth.

Upon arrival, officers located a 12-year-old with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to LeBonheur in non-critical condition.

The suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie.

The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
