(Batesville, MS) Two people were shot to death and three more were injured in shootings in Batesville.

News Channel 3 was on the scene at the Westridge Apartments on Tubbs Rd. where investigators were seen scouring a parking lot and dumpster for evidence.

Lacardo and Shundarrus Moore were found in a car, both shot in the head, possibly with an AK-47.

It's believed the brothers were shot in retaliation for a shooting thirty minutes earlier on Everette Street where three people were shot.

It's also likely, according to investigators, that gangs were involved.

At least one investigator from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation was on the scene.
